Tyler Seguin scored a pair of goals including the eventual game-winner and Jake Oettinger made 32 saves with some key stops down the stretch as the Dallas Stars edged the Minnesota Wild 3-2 to even their first round series at two games a piece.

I thought Montreal got a huge steal trading Dadonov for Gurianov. But it appears that Dadonov is paying off for Dallas so far these playoffs. It's a win for both teams if he keeps it up.

Not a supporter of either team...but I have to say the officiating in this, and almost every playoff game this year I have watched has been unspeakably bad and inconsistent. Players are clearly lost in what to expect. I've been playing and watching hockey for 57 years and I've never seen such poor reffing. I don't know if its a league issue in terms of the constant tweaking of rules and infractions, making it hard on the on ice officials, or its just plain bad officiating...or both. There will always be bad and missed calls and I know how hard the job of officiating at this level is, but I'm almost speechless as to how poor it has been. Foligno needs to be more disciplined in playoff hockey, he needs to be under control but The two calls on Foligno were just mind boggling...FFS this not the IIHF...it's the friggin NHL. The officiating is just plain embarrassing, and anyone who knows hockey knows it is. Every team in the playoffs this year has suffered from multiple excruciatingly bad, or missed calls...and the inconsistency is killing the game and getting in the players heads.

Have watched every game, and think that was the worst reffed game (others mostly ok). Those Foligno penalties were absurd & wild aren’t even my team.

Oettinger earned the massive respect of Flames fans last playoffs; Minnesota fans are probably learning to do just the same. No offense to the Wild, but I hope the Stars go on a deep run.
