Yesterday, May 1, BYD held a press event on the outskirts of Dunhuang, a small Gobi desert city about 300km from Mongolia. The car performed 360-degree tank turn on local streets and in the sand, and BYD some impressive videos out of it.

I have a '95 C3500 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 8' bed... My truck couldn't turn a full circle on a football field. I'd still have to back up and come at it again.

This is a cool thing. A couple notes.

This absolutely decimates the tires. If you do it on pavement, you're cooked.

There's no way on god's green earth that this does not put some sort of stress on the knuckle, struts, or anything important on those wheels. You can say they have designed it for it, sure, but after a couple ten or hundred turns, you're cooked.
