Hoping I have the blessing to see Elton live this September which will also be my first concert experience. Grew up with his music and respect him for continuing to tour. I honestly prefer some his more recent interpretations of the songs. Don’t expect them to sound like they did 50-40 years ago. Lifetime of singing and age does a lot but he has done well with adapting to it. Can’t wait!

Amazing! I just watched the same song, when he performed it at Central Park New York in 1980. Okay so he might not have his falsetto range any more? But look, he's 70 now, it's natural that voices change with age and to my mind he still puts out a Damn good performance. All Musicians carry quite a weight on their shoulders, and I think we should support and applaud them. Give me a gig like this against any of the totally false reality tv by x factor, the Voice etc, don't get me wrong, there is a wealth of Talent but come on, don't exploit them for financial gain and then cast them aside? Ask yourself, would Simon Cowell have signed the Stones, or Bob Dylan?
