World Mission Society Church of God and Its Critics

2,000 years ago Jesus came to this world as the savior. Although Jesus brought the truth of the New Covenant, He was rejected by His own people and finally He was crucified. The rejection of most was influenced by the religious leaders of that time, they spread malicious rumors and lies just to make people deny Christ. Today we see the same is being done to the World Mission Society Church of God and its members. When we see the claims of those who speak against the World Mission Society Church of God, we see the same pattern as to what was done to Jesus and His Church 2,000 years ago. Regardless what you do people will always have something to say, but when it comes to our salvation, we can only trust the Bible.

Before making a hasty judgment, come to the World Mission Society Church of God and study the Bible. You will be able to see the truth behind the cloud of negativity some create around the Church.

Wow! The truth always trumps misinformation. I'm happy to see the giving spirit of the World Mission Society Church of God. I believe that kindness shines much brighter than negativity and hurtful words. I don't think the church needs to defend itself because the Bible speaks volumes as to this church being in line with the truth. I hope everyone around us and in the world will become a lot happier than people who spend time being hurtful by speaking against something they don't know and come to a knowledge that we are preaching LOVE. Today is same as 2, 000 years ago. If we think the Savior through only physical aspect, we can't see the Savior through the eyes of the prophecies in the bible. We can fully understand the Savior in the last age by only through the bible.(Jhon 5:39)

This video is so reassuring! It reminds me of how clearly everything was explained to me when I had doubts due to other people's opinions when I first began studying in the Church of God. I love how it puts things into perspective and explains the "real" situation at Christ's first coming through the Bible and how history will repeat itself. Truly if you have a patient and open mind, you will come to see that the Church of God is an amazing church built on sound biblical teachings.

I've been a member of the WMSCOG for quite some time and have seen many people come and go. This little cartoon very precisely depicts what happens to many people. The happiest I've ever seen anyone is when people come and learn the amazing biblical truths taught in our Church; however, sometimes they don't come back. It's not because they discovered something was taught inaccurately, but because of so much negativity surrounding our Church from opposers who have their own spiritual agendas. I've seen a lot over the years and want to reassure anyone/everyone that the WMSCOG is the most pure church in existence. People's opinions are valuable in relation to physical things, such as buying a car, but we cannot rely on people's opinions in relation to spiritual matters. Otherwise, God would not have given us the Bible!

I went through a similar experience. I can definitely say that I was like the character in the video after coming to the Church of God the first time and the following occasions within the first few weeks, happy and excited to see such amazing teachings. It felt like I was reading the bible for the first time in my life! In my excitement to learn more I tried to looked up more online and saw many biased websites that did not match at all with what I studied and what I experienced in the Church of God, so I knew there was something wrong and that there were people out there that did not like my new church at all! It was obvious to me that these websites and articles were definitely biased and with ill motives to attack the church with no grounds whatsoever for any of their claims. Since nowadays people can say whatever they want online without without any proof and validity I decided to follow what is truthful and from God, so I decided to study the bible and see it with my own eyes. After studying much at the Church I saw the truth of God taught from the Bible in the Church of God and I was able to clearly see why these people were attacking the church, it was just like in the time of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. They attacked the Church he established and say ill things about his church and disciples. The Church of God is flawless, in integrity and truth, just as it was 2000 years ago, but there will always be people that will speak and make up false rumors to deceive others, at the end the truth will prevail. Please do not let yourself be influenced and so be deceived by the false rumors and ill comments that were made up, but seek God through the Bible. Trust in God not in men.

According to the bible, the truth is always persecuted by false prophet and religious leaders.
You don't need to hear words of false people. You have to see only the Words of God(the bible) and the you can find the truth of salvation. The Church of God follows all teaching of the Jesus and the truth of the bible.

Through this video it is so clear to see how important it is to discern from Truth and False(lies). If people allow their thoughts to be misguided by false accusations instead of seeing it through the Bible, then it will be difficult to understand how to follow True God according to the Bible. The Bible was written by God's chosen ones, not false witnesses and therefore is our source of knowledge of God. I hope that those who truly want to know about the WMSCOG can come, study, and see for themselves how beautiful it is.

Great video! It's so simple yet very thought provoking. Sometimes we listen to the opinion of others and take their word on things sometimes without even knowing who it's coming from.
