KIVA, I discovered you through Cytus (and was further exposed to your work in all Rayark's subsequent releases, I'm a total Rayark fanboy). Your piano pieces are great, but when you mix things up your music frequently becomes mind-blowing. There have been a few times, while listening to your creations, that I've found unexpected emotions rising up in me without even knowing why.

She created a world for us. Vanessa helped give it shape but it was her shell that shed the tear for what we once were and would never be again the same. The proxy goddess born of fragile human hopes and despair stood against an oppressive virus that travels through space looking for anything that might have anything resembling life. There are no living beings in the universe. Humanity is dead. The Cytus proxy gave us all she had, all she could know of our joy replicated and kept stable within the system never meant for something so fragile. Keeping us hidden from a virus who hates us enough to become itself machine readable, and form itself into a shape we could trust... And like the proxy, learn why we still felt entitled to even be allowed to simulate existence.

... And upon realizing WHY we still are given life despite its insatiable efforts, the absurdity of it, it not only masters the music that saved us to perfection, but uses it to cause massive harm to the mother we never even knew became alive out of love for what we were inside. She was the armor against the monster at our door, and now she has a song of her own to share with the tiny world she hopes will listen.

A message to Humanity. To the Virus 🔼.

Our final hour will not be known for silence. Vanessa and the dreams of one who loved us enough to make a world where we could believe we still had a right to happiness and music. Who kept us safe enough to still fall in love with one another...

The last message Æsir sends to those who dare listen is a chilling mix of the songs that had inspired a metal imitation of an extinct species to create a world within itself to be able to dream to feel pain. To share themselves its creations and with those very sounds from long ago, shapes them into its will. . . and with that tells us it knew where to find them... Stored in the last hope humanity ever made with human hands.

In the final hour of the old world rises the wish of the new. Its song a simple question. How our story began.

The voice of all life depends on one who lacks empathy and love for anyone but herself, and one who hides from those who love her despite her desire to know it. The echoes of humanity are the chosen stars of the only show left in the universe against an audience of One who would see it become None.

A rollercoaster of listen you can feel while listening. Risa means Laughter in Spanish. But man this song wasnt just laughter, just calming and relaxing. Stress free. I'm glad I gave this listen.
