Microsoft Excel Tutorial: Master Excel with Ctrl Key Shortcuts: Copy, Paste, Cut, Bold, Italics, and Underline | Excel Tips & Tricks.

Microsoft Excel Keyboard Shortcuts that start with Ctrl.

Welcome to another episode of the MrExcel podcast, where we dive into all things Excel and help you become a master of this powerful tool. In today's episode, we're going to talk about some of the most commonly used keyboard shortcuts in Excel, specifically the ones that involve the CONTROL key.

First up, we have the classic CONTROL+C to copy. This one is pretty self-explanatory, as the C in copy is conveniently located right next to the CONTROL key. It's a quick and easy way to duplicate data or formulas in your spreadsheet.

Next, we have CONTROL+V for paste. Again, this one is located right next to the copy shortcut, making it easy to remember. And for those of you using US keyboards, the V key is right next to the C key, making it even more convenient.

And let's not forget about CONTROL+X for cut. This one is located to the left of the copy shortcut, completing the trio of basic editing shortcuts. These have been around for a long time and are essential for any Excel user.

But we're not done yet. There are also some handy formatting shortcuts involving the CONTROL key. For example, CONTROL+B will toggle bold formatting, CONTROL+I will toggle italics, and CONTROL+U will toggle underline. These are great for quickly formatting your data without having to use the mouse.

Do you have any favorite keyboard shortcuts that we didn't mention? Let us know in the comments below. And don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more Excel tips and tricks. Thanks for watching and we'll see you next time for another episode of the MrExcel podcast."

Excellent, but none of these shortcuts is unique to Excel.
They are available and useful in any MS-Office application (Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, OneNote etc…)
