Should we position the ball that's teed up, when hitting a 3 wood, the same as we do with a tee shot with the driver?

Knew all of that before. Hitting the ball is always the hard part. If I could hit off of turf that looks like that, I could hit better too.

I have a very frustrating relationship with my 5-wood. Either I get a great shot or I hit a...(insert s-word here). How is THAT possible?? I get so freaked that I end up going for my 4-iron on the fairway. A pretty solid hit everytime - though much shorter distance. At least I am not wandering around in out of bounds looking for my ball! Hopefully this video will give me a three point mindset to my shot: weight, angle and ball position. So I am more consistant with my fairway wood.

Biggest fault for me is playing the ball too far forward in stance. Easy fix but easier said than done.
