When she is gone, you hear her voice in every room, you breathe her perfume along the hallway from where she smiled and said goodbye, you picture her in the wind of the city and cry at the thought of her dying, you see her face on walls, the floor across the sky, and in every other place, you marvel at the thought you once lived without her, until into her arms you fell, thankful to the angels she saw you and noone else, and you pray you never meet the one who makes you forget her, when she is gone.

A whole other layer to this film is created by the fact that it’s all told from her POV. Thus, the audience is only certain of the sincerity of *her* feelings. We never know *his* feelings. We are never sure if he actually does love her as much as she loves him, or if he’s just a sleazy creep putting on a facade of charm to seduce her.

They are both so terribly terribly posh - it is a good film but the dialogue is too modern ears so stilted - Victoria Woods parody so funny
