I generated a simple wavetable following his recommendations from a sampled bowed cymbal - a very metallic and inharmonic sound - and decided to create a simple generative piece using sonilab's Cosmos M31. I'm also exploring many different plugins from Plugin Alliance - from distortion to the Unfiltered Audio effects. One VST which I'm using a lot lately is the Brainworx SubSynth and Unfiltered Audio Bass-Mint.
