I listen to all other famous conductors interpretations - but always go to Celi last. He never disappoints.

One of the greatest music moment in human history given here a first class performance . The different instruments sections becomes ALIVE, living souls that contributes to the WHOLE orchestra by merging in harmony with the total sound experience. Celebidache achieves a perfect balance between the strings sections (very nice sound) and the rest of the orchestra with a transcendental control over the crescendos and decrescendos. Thanking you for posting!

Celibidache never lets the music run away from him. Each player in this orchestra is totally under his command. Exquisite.

Wagner has no equal...a volcanic eruption of genius...
And Celibidache reveals that sonic miracle to us in all its splendor.

Immaculate timing and control. It's paradoxical that such passion should require absolute control to allow the elements to breathe, but here it is.

Ah, the man who made time stop, the master of it. Things take so long, so stretched, and you think this should not be so slow, but after a few minutes you are enticed into his world. His conducting was so unbelievably sensuous. When his personal view worked - and it often did - it was absolutely other-worldly. And he always seemed to pull the very best out of his players!
