This man on phone is shallow minded. How can you be quoting a section of the law on qualification requirement for a professional teacher and apply to the appointment of a Director-General? He also admits that the Act does not specify the qualifications of a D-G and that the appointment is the prerogative of the President. So where lies his argument?
He doesn't even understand the difference between the practice of teaching and administration of teaching. These are the kind of leaders behind our poor education system who cannot think beyond the box...no wonder they want to do anything to resist change.
