The problem with apple isn’t pricing only, you can buy professional equipment for 10 times the price of the AirPods, the problem with it is the longevity, if I buy a 300$ earphones I’d expect them to last at least 10 years before buying another pair, not 2-3 years !

Watching this AirPod Pro repair video is like witnessing a high-stakes surgical procedure—but instead of a scalpel, we’ve got a heat gun and a prayer! 🔥🔧 If only fixing these was as easy as just ‘unpairing’ and ‘re-pairing’—we’d all have a lot fewer headaches and a lot more working earbuds!

This repair is so difficult it’s insane! This crap MUST be made illegal! With all that EU was doing about right to repair, did they overlook Wireless Earbuds?

Why can’t they just design it so some part would simply unscrew and give access to the insides?
Why do you need to solder the battery?!

I literally have a Gillette Razor with a battery inside and all I need to do to open it up is a quick twist. There’s a rubber gasket, and I’ve used that thing for like 15 years now probably, submerging it into water, cleaning, all of that — ZERO problems.

Why does Apple need to bath AirPods in a glue?! This is madness!

3:30 nope, high chance Apple did the excessive gluing deliberately

More impressed with the fact you used the old iOS slide to unlock sound when you unlocked the latch to reinstall the stem 😂

Apple doesn't even service these. They replace them. Should be illegal to manufacture unserviceable products like that.

Steve Jobs said it best in an interview, “people vote with their wallets. If they think it’s great they’ll buy it and otherwise they won’t it’s as simple as that.”

I guess most people just don’t care enough.

3:39 The only way to prove if Samsung did it right is to run them through the wash like you did your AirPods. If they still work then they indeed built them better.

Few months ago I replaced the battery of my 2.5 year old soundcore liberty 2 pro. In Bangladesh I did not find the exact same battery, so I had to connect 2 of 30mah battery parallelly and to make it even more clumsy I had to separate and use the bms from the previous battery. Man that was quite hard with limited tools, but it did work!

I still lament ever since the launch and craze over small BT headphones. No one thinks about all the batteries and waste these things end up being. Sitting hear wearing my 12 year old Sony MDRs, I have a set of 1980s Porta Pros. These things last forever if you take care of them. Thats the problem, batteries made these consumables and not "products" like a lot of Americans think of when we buy electronics. I have computers as old as 12-15 years old that still run. These days Apple builds in electrical runoff as they put high volt power rails right next to data lines which inevitably causes device failure 5 years down the line. It makes me angry that this is "preferred" among the general populace, we've allowed companies to enslave people into a cycle of infinite buying crap that does very little to enrich our lives.

the only thing I want to mention is that you used so much iso to remove the ribon cable and the white glue. there was a big chance a earspeaker from that much amount of iso. good to hear that everything went fine. Btw I do microsoldering aswell so that's why pointed that issue out. love watching your videos, keep it up man.

Wow, the Airpods 2-gen USB C case is IP54. New Samsung Buds are ip57, but the case is only ipx4. I never washed my earbuds but it sure would be nice to have an option
