I’m sorry but this is not correct.

Wet food is the equivalent of prey in the wild. There is no dry food equivalent in the wild.

The carbohydrates in dry food SUBSTANTIALLY increases your cat’s risk of diabetes, especially if your cat lives to old age.

How do I know this? My last cat got diabetes when he was 15, and my vet happens to be a world leader in the study of feline diabetes, and he told me point blank.

Unfortunately, due to my ignorance regarding dry food, the damage was already done.

For all the good work shelters do, operating costs are an issue, hence dry food is their choice.

Wet food MUST be your cat’s staple food to reduce the risk of feline diabetes.
