Just to add. This only works if your PC is connected by WiFi. Not Ethernet.

semi helpful you helped me find the action center I don't know if it's my internet or what but it will NOT connect, strange as it will connect to my outside camera and not the tv that is two feet away. but this did help

when i cast my pc to my roku tv and move my mouse its glitchy and starts doing random square colors and its also stuck at 30 hz

My youtube can connect through Roku, but not anything else, it seems. It is not listed on my PC (not a laptop).

I get al the way to the pairing stage with the two pears, but then it stays there and freezes and never gets to screen sharing. Any thoughts?

Shouldnt you say what version of Windows you're using?
