I made these biscuits, it came out good. I followed this because you can cut it thin. Measurements, 6 eggs and 2 cups of flour, I cup of sugar and almonds, and the rest is almond and vanilla essence. 1st bake 180 degrees and 2 nd bake 120 or so. It came out good. Thanks and it came out good.

Ciao Pina, when you read recipe you said 2 1/2 cups of flour. But written ingredient on the screen is 1.5 cups. So which one is correct?!

I tried the recipe..the surface turn to brown colour in 20 min .. and i noticed that the almond sink to bottom when I cut it . It was too hard to slice it, the almond will fall out .

Hi. When I bake these, the almonds sink to the bottom and when baked only half the biscuit is full of almonds. What am I doing wrong? Whisking the egg and sugar mixture too much??

And yes is it 1.5 or 2.5 cups of flour?

Ciao PINA i love this recipe... but 2 questions.. 1..did you really mean 4 hrs to cook for 2nd baking.? MAMMA MIA... And the flour is it 2 .5 cups or 1.5 cups...PLEASE can you clarify for me...MOLTO GRAZIE... my name is Antonietta

Did you say to cook them for 4 hrs after you slice them.
I have a fan forced oven the lowest is 100 degrees i think they would burn.

Sorry you got 1.5 cup flour on the ingredients list
But in the video your mentioned 2 /1/2 cup then you used only 1/1/4 cup
So what the correct amount of flour you show 3 different amount very confuse I wonder why not come good when we make it

Here a more easy and correct recipe 3 eggs white only no yolk
1/2 cup castor sugar
1 cup plain flour
3/4 cup almond drop vanilla essence
Oven 180/ 35 /40 minute
Cool slice back in the oven got only 45 minute on low gas 120
And NOT 4 hours

that is the most different biscotti recipe I ever saw. Baking in a loaf pan, and cut so thin, they don't lay flat, and baked a second time for 4 hours on lowest setting. For this reason I gotta make these.

it really takes time to bake the 2nd time? can i cut it in half time like 2 hours?
