Just flew business class Aug 2022 on a 787-8 Dreamliner from Bogota to Los Angeles an 8 hour flight. No hot meal. Same exact box lunch as economy. No wine or beer. No pillow or blanket offered/available. Extremely sad. Food just horrible. My opinion not worth the upgrade. Only positive to say is that the seating chair can completely lie flat so that was nice. Otherwise, service and food was nonexistence or borderline the same or worse than economy (my friend in economy got the same exact cold sandwich, snack, water before me in business class. I was seated in 7K l of business class and he was seated in 13K in economy). Unless you want the extra leg room and lie flat in my opinion definitely not worth the exuberant upgrade.

Dude, just ask for another drink. Avianca doesnt like to bother their customers on long flights. If want something just ask. I fly Bogota to Lax almost once a month on the 787-8 series, wont fly on another carrier. Delta, United, AAL, all suck
