Welcome to the another Raspberry Pi Tutorial! Today I'll show you a really quick tutorial on how to install Apache on your Raspberry Pi to turn it into a web server.

Consider this to be the first in the series of four videos. The end result will be that we'll learn how to turn on an LED using our browser! I use this method to control lights and other devices all over my house.

I want to take one step at a time towards our end goal. So stay tuned to the next few tutorials!

I hope you enjoy the tutorial!

I would love to see a tutorial on hosting a small language model on the pi 5 and making an API available to connect to it via API calls. I was able to get Phi3 running on my pi 5. I tried using nginx but had trouble making the API available to public networks

Great, easy to follow video! Thank you so much!! First, my url for my index.html is 192.168.1.41 but I am not sure why. I can see this from other laptops connected to my wifi so that's good. However, I have errors starting my apache2 server. 'systemctl status apache2.service' says "Failed to start the Apache HTTP server...code=exited, status=1/FAILURE and 'jounalct -xe' doesn't add much, says 'apache2.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'...The unit apache2.service has entered the 'failed' state with result 'exit-code'... session closed for user root'. Please help - I've tried googling for solutions to no avail.

You can turn your Raspbery Pi into a web server but should you? Your web server install was over a year and a half ago. How is it running? I am considering converting my home "data center" which consists of 4 desktop PCs running Linux into either Intel Nucs or Raspberry Pis. Thanks for shooting and sharing this informative video.

I'm thinking of repurposing an old rPi3 into a personal web server and this video was super helpful! I assume this would not be accessible from outside your local network? Perhaps do a part 2 tutorial on how to make your page accessible outside of local network?
