Thanks for another thoughtful and professional review. Not many review the SE non-hybrid trim which for me is the best choice. I love the look with the same fuel-efficient engine but with dynamic shift CVT and rear multi-link suspension. It's ideal for long term ownership costs although the 16-inch tires on the LE would be cheaper to change. Nevertheless, I agree it's a better choice over the Mazda3. The only thing I don't like is its weight at 3, 100 pounds. The LE is 2, 900 pounds. Admittedly there is a lot of value in the LE trim, but for me the SE is worth it.

The ‘24 Corolla takes 0w-8 synthetic oil. This oil isn’t sold at auto part stores. It’s sold at dealerships for $20 a quart.
Toyota care will only change your oil every 10k miles for 2 years or 25k miles, whichever come first.
Just thought buyers should know this.

The Corolla SE / XSE need the 2.5 from the Camry. This’ll pep it up. Kinda insulting the Corolla has either a 1.8 or 2.0.
