Welcome and Gather

W. Eric L. Grimson PhD ’80, MIT Chancellor for Academic Advancement and Bernard M. Gordon Professor of Medical Engineering, welcomes an enthusiastic group of MIT alumni and friends to MIT’s Better World Weekend on May 14, 2022. Grimson describes the sessions and conversations that will take place over the weekend, featuring MIT’s experts on the topics of mobility, sustainability, biotech, human health, equity, and design, both present and future. This event caps off MIT’s decade-long Campaign for a Better World, which raised $6.24 billion from 112,703 alumni and friends.
