Special glasses developed to treat nearsightedness

Myopia, or nearsightedness, is a growing problem, given the heavy use of smartphone technology. In a UW Medicine pilot study, new glasses seem to have halted a patient's rapid progression of myopia. Ophthalmologist Jay Neitz explains the condition and the glasses.
