If you're worried about the pants staying up, you could always try suspenders. I don't really like belts because they squinch my waist in a way I don't like, but suspenders have really changed the way that I wear pants. It'll also keep them up when you put things in your pockets.
All your other makes (and including the pants) turned out so cute and whimsical. Great job!
