Matthew Perry: Friends and family pay tribute after death of Friends star

Actor Matthew Perry, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on Friends, has died aged 54.

His family, friends and fans have paid tribute to the star who was described as "always the funniest person in the room" and the "sweetest, with a giving, selfless heart" - as Sky's Martha Kelner reports.

As fans we are heart broke as family they are devastated. I remember when my brother quit drinking he died 2 weeks later. It seems so unfair I’m so sorry for his family! Rest easy Mathew❤️

Im not sure what type of help he was receiving for his mental health issues but he always said "If I died, it would shock people but wouldn't surprise anybody". He knew an early death was coming a long time ago.
