Ryan I’m a Venezuelan and also an American citizen, I’m traveling soon to Colombia for the first time and I think your video (from all I’ve watched about this subject) is very useful and talks about very important things to be aware like the “drug users stereotype”, thank you so much for also mentioning the situation of Venezuelan refugees, as you clarified most of these people is people that didn’t choose to leave their country to live a life on the streets begging for money, most of those people do this because they HAD NO CHOICE. Love the video. Very well explained. Was in Medellin last year and enjoyed every minute of it. We didn’t care much for the Pablo Escobar situation or tours even though it was a part of their history (they are trying to recover from that insanity still). Indeed the Colombian people are welcoming. Going back soon but to Bogota 😌.

I will add one important, when you go to bars be attentive of your drink, it is been around that some bad people (there are in many cities in the world) that can add drugs in there.
