Loving your Taiwan videos!! Will be there in December and I'm saving everything in your Kaoshiung videos😅. Also, I know it's hot and humid in your video but Shelb's makeup is perfect. Drop the makeup info 🙏🏻

That beef noodle shop is no doubt a very famous one in Kaohsiung. You both are lucky enough to make a right decision on having that beef noodle.

Have so much fun watching your Kaohsiung city tour. Never knew the art part of the city. We will definitely follow your route, even stay in that hotel you stayed. Very good video, truly enjoy it, love the energy in your expressions.

豆花pronounces “Do Hua” or “To hua” also made from soy bean but more fluffy and light. 豆花is a popular traditional dessert in Taiwan, normally served in a bowel with lots of different toppings you can choose, for example, boiled peanuts, red/green beans, taro, boba etc.

The yellow rubber duck exhibition ends few months ago, the exhibition is limited time, only went for a month.
And Chase is right about the artwork, it's very industrial, that's because Kaohsiung used to be a heavy industrial city, and now transforming itself to a more artistic and touristy city, but keeping the artwork industrial, reminding what Kaohsiung used to be like, and had came a long way. The whole Pier 2 used to be old industrial warehouse.

The buns you mentioned are actually pan-fried stuffed buns (水煎包Shui Jian Bao). They’re steamed first and then pan-fried, which makes them crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They’re one of the most famous street foods here.

We apologize for the language barrier at that stall, which unfortunately meant you couldn’t try these delicious buns. That stall is very popular in the neighborhood, so most people place reservations or call ahead to order hours in advance. Because of this, if you want to order in person at the stall, you might have to wait nearly an hour. They weren’t trying to avoid selling to you; they just couldn’t explain the situation clearly due to the language barrier. We hope you understand.

As a resident of Kaohsiung, I hope you enjoyed your time in Kaohsiung. It’s a pity you missed out on the buns, but if you visit Kaohsiung again in the future, let us know, and we can order them in advance for you.

By the way, we use Mandarin Chinese (Traditional) in Taiwan, instead of Simplified Chinese as used in China.

Thank you and looking forward to more videos.

That’s a very famous beef noodle restaurant. Kaohsiung delicacy. Drip a little garlic water in the noodles will transform the flavor into next level!

The store that invented bubble tea in Taiwan is Chun Shui Tang. There are branches all over Taiwan. You can try it out.

Actually in Taiwan we use "Chinese (Traditional)", while people in China use "Chinese (simplified)". Besides, "Taiwanese" is a language like "dialect", usually older and southern people in Taiwan would use it more.
