What should I make for dinner? Well, self, I think we should make a New Mexican favorite! Inspired by an absolute killer New Mexican pizza place, this is a simple, five topping pizza that you can make at home in about an hour. If you’ve already got some roasted garlic lying around, you can make this in 40 minutes.

Green Chile Pizza

Prep Time: Dough will take 1-hour
Prerequisites:
Bake time: 20-30 minutes
Oven temp: 475*F or 246*C

Ingredients:

Dough:
1 packet of dry active yeast
1 ½ cup lukewarm H20
½ tsp sugar
1 tsp of salt
2 ½ TBS olive oil
3 cups bread flour

The toppings:
1 ½ cup freshly shredded medium cheddar cheese
1 TBS freshly grated parmesan cheese
½ cup roasted and chopped New Mexican green chile
Head of chopped roasted garlic

We’ll be using sharp cheddar, fresh New Mexican green chilies, and turkey. When you go to Albuquerque, you’ll see this combination everywhere, in subs, enchiladas, stuffed sopapillas, and yes, pizzas. If you’ve never thrown these ingredients together, well, today is your day. In the immortal words of Morpheus, “Welcome, to the real world.”

But seriously, calling this the “New Mexican Pizza” is not an exaggeration, especially because I will show you how to make some killer red chile ranch that you can dip your pizza creation into. Oh yeah, I went there.
