I use the key ring for the keys . Since most vehicles now are key less entry as long as that you have the key on your person. .I just inverted on the inside and I know exactly where my keys are. For those of us who lose their keys often its a plus.

I’ve had my Artsy for approx 6 yrs now, got it secondhand in gorgeous condition from Fashionphile, and I still love it.

I’m lukewarm about the vachetta (soft c) around the top... on the one hand it’s nice that it protects the top of the bags canvas from cracking as early on.
Esthetically, I’m not a fan-
I prefer without it .

The long leather strap and clasp I do use - I attach my keychain and keys to it so I can just search for the strap and pull it out when I need it, as the bag is a TANK in size

The vachetta cracks more than the treated canvas. It stains easily too.

It’s a key belt. It’s purpose is to connect your key to it and hang it inside of your bag.

Been wearing mine for almost a month. I love this and my only wish was that the strap adds weight and I wish the base was solid, thinking about an organizer insert ( pockets are the best value)
