I have always been fascinated by how the DMT experience changes the perception of reality. The way, before getting to the level where everything disintegrates, trees will change their "character". We know what an oak tree looks like. It's normal character is deeply ingrained in our consciousness. And under this alteration, it snaps instantly into another character. It looks very different and yet if I go up to it, I can poke it and the "illusion" holds together perfectly. Just a different way of seeing. Makes one realize how much our perception is constructed.
