NEW Villains Land Coming To Magic Kingdom! - Theme Park News

VILLAINS LAND is coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! In this video I take a look at the concept art for this HUGE area coming as part of the biggest expansion ever to Magic Kingdom. Along with that I share my thoughts on the project, including what looks like TWO NEW COASTERS! More Disney news updates will be on the way across the next few weeks featuring all of the other announcements made at D23!

A more intense steel track hybrid, like Iron Gwazi, flying through the caves and over the cliffs around Maleficent’s castle would be absolutely perfect. Rattly and scary.

Because he’s MY favorite Disney Villain, and he was SUPER FREAKIN AWESOME at the Oogie Boogie Bash at the Disneyland Resort, and hopefully they bring him to the new villains land at Walt Disney World in Florida!😆 have you seen pictures and videos of how Ernesto de la Cruz looks at Disneyland?!

That would be very cool id they did start adding some thrill coasters at Disney. I honestly believe they could use them to satisfy more adults and teens that come with their families. I love space mountain, Big Thunder and so on but they are all family coasters which 100% makes sense for the Disney parks but never hurts to scatter around a few more that are a little more intense. Kids and people in general are "daredevils" these days and want more. What better place to make that happen!

Here is my Predictions for Disney Villians Land:
An Ursula Spinning Flat Ride, A Radiator Springs Racers Style Cruella De Vil ride, A Velocicoaster Style Jafar Snake, A Chiapas Style Scar’s Reign of Terror, A Splash Mountain Style Dr. Facilier’s Voodoo Plan, A Battle of the Sunken Treasure Style Hades Underworld boat ride, A Tower of Terror style Claude Frollo (my personal favorite Disney Villian), and My New Innovation, A Oogie Boogie Trackless dark ride, an RMC-Suspended Hybrid Maleficent Dragon Roller Coaster but also Pixar Villians should have their own attractions, A Scoop Dark Ride Syndrome, A Danse Macabre Style Lotso, An Army Parachute style Hopper, A Challenge Trails Style Charles Muntz, a Donkey Kong Minecart Madness Style Stinky Pete Roller Coaster, and the best part of all, a hybrid water, trackless, scoop-based, roller coaster themed to Chernabog!

The concept art for this one is the least clear of al that is announced. Makes me really feel like it’s the last thing they added to the D23 announcements as a late reaction to epic universe’s dark universe that got a lot of good feedback. Dark universe at Epic is going to be an unexpected hit for universal I think. For the coasters I can see the RMC in it but if they do that it’s going to be a tamer family trill one I recommend. Would be a cool additionfor a Villain themed area and something new and different for them. Didn’t notice the other track at first but yes that looks like a second coaster and I am a bit surprised about that. 2 coasters in one area and one of them looks like it’s going to be a big one for sure. A villain land lends itself to a major dark ride I would think and I would love to see some filler attractions to draw people away from the bigger ones and make the waiting lines shorter. Take food, stores and facilities with that and you wil have a really big aria. Like I said it’s possible as a reaction to Epic but I would take this concept art with a grain of salt, Looks like it’s not that far in front of the blue sky idea for it, especially if you compare it to the other announcements of D23. Also it’s Disney you never know if the are not cutting back in a later stage or scrap things completely.

To me the coaster in the back looks to be an RMC, which would be amazing to see in a Disney park. I think it would be nice to have some inversions on it, and then have the other coaster (which I would theme to hades/the underworld), as some type of family style coaster. Then they should also have a state of the art dark ride that incorporates multiple villains

I just hope they can create a dark and twisted environment and the mood that's displayed within the concept art in central Florida on bright sunny days. I want it to work so bad

The coaster in the cavern looks very much themed to the underworld and Hades. Hercules has been on a massive wave of popularity. And with Disney doing a live action version and stage musical. It would make sense they’d want to add the IP to their parks as soon as possible.

Although my ideal Hercules representation would be a newly built Greek pavilion at Epcot. But that’s dreamland. 😂😂

And I went to the house of Blues and also the last night at Disney we went to planet Hollywood near there and it was amazing I’m sad that we left there

The track towards the back looks like it could be hard banking turns rather than inversions. It'll really surprise me if Disney does a ride with actual inversions as that might deter a lot of guests. I do hope what we're seeing is just one coaster, I don't think they would need 2 coasters right next to each other. And I would rather have a massive new dark ride, totally state of the art to compete with Dark Universe's dark ride.
