My late review of the Wyze Cam and Wyze Cam Pan is here after nearly a year of procrastination. These are absolutely amazing smart home cameras. Not only are you getting a ton of features for $20 but the overall video quality and the quality of the Wyze App make these cameras the best buy if you're looking for a wifi camera. If you buy them direct from the Wyze website the Wyze Cam is $20 and the Wyze Cam Pan is $30. The cameras cost a few dollars more at other retailers.

I bought 5 Wyze Cams and 5 Wyze Cam Pan and 1 Motion Sensor... easy to set up...I use mine to help monitor my Dad who is in a wheelchair... best deal going... very satisfied so far after 1 week of use.

I was completely sold on the Wyze cam until I heard about the 12 second thing. Then your video pointed out that its only for the cloud storage that they are limited to 12 seconds. Currently in the Amazon checkout with one in the cart. Amazing review. Thank you.

Wyze will be releasing their MaxDrive shortly, which will act as a NAS, allowing you to store all of your WyzeCam video onto your own provided internal HDD, up to 12TB in size (you will actually be able to store other, non-Wyze-related media on it too). The MaxDrive must be connected via Ethernet to your Router in order to work. This by itself will blow away the paltry 32GB storage limitations, and allow you to hide the MaxDrive inside the house. Def found it helpful. Loved your presentation. Was on the fence with buying my Zmodo, Simplisafe or YI. YI - not for me. Got knocked out the box today. Zomdo- still may grab a camera because the app supports it. But no battery backup. Wyse - same thing..no battery backup but they use 5V so it'll be easy to buy and hookup a backup in case a theft trys to turn the power off. But the price is unbeatable. Simplisafe - lose power..no problem..app - no problem..price - HUGE problem lol.

These seem like a "Wyse" choice. Thx for the awesome video man. Def subscriber now.

I like watching your videos cause you really simplify things when you explain them. I am a little surprised you didn't mention that Wyze is releasing the Wyze Sense next month. Sense has non-camera motion and door sensors that work through a bridge with the cameras. So now you can program the pan to turn off when you are home or only turn on and start recordings when the door opens etc. Good video as always.
