This Is The Most Expensive Castle In The World

Welcome back, Richest fans! Located in the country of Ireland sits an old stronghold that’s been turned into a luxury hotel. That being Ashford Castle. The large fortress has stood for over 800 years. As such, it has a number of stories to tell. Such as the fact it was a film location as well as the iconic people that have visited and owned Ireland’s ancient keep. Some of these owners caused the castle to be the most expensive one in the world! Today, we’re going to look at all the facts and features of the castle. From its storied past, to the facilities within the hotel today, and the pricey rooms and suites available within.

Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you like surprises, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times. Firstly, we’ll see where exactly the castle is based and which film it appears in. We then begin our history lesson. Which includes being owned by the Guinness family, the ones who made the iconic drink and the keepers of world records. It then had a French chateau-inspired building added. It was even owned by Chuck Feeney who famously gave away his fortune. We then take a look at the features within. Such as the luxury spa to let all your trouble evaporate within. And the stunning golf course to enjoy. But if restaurants are more your style, there’s one named after the king who visited the castle, George V. We then have a selection of their rooms. Including one named after Ronald Reagan! Finally, we’ll briefly look at one of the most expensive Irish properties on the market at the time of making this video.

Everyone is saying who is first and who had the first like. The video is one of the best that highlights Ireland. I’m from Ireland and know Ashford so well. It’s probably one of the best establishments I’ve ever been to. The staff make you feel right at home before you park your car. The 365 islands you can explore on Lough Corrib is well worth it and you can take a boat out to the most famous one. Also the building featured at the end has been bought and I could be the first to tell you who bought it but I’m not like that. Savour the video and remember, Ashford Castle and Cong are definitely worth a trip and you’re also just at the start of Connemara so you will have more bonuses if you decide to explore there too.
