So they basically give you a new one which can be accessed by the old one so that the person that has your identity can now have two SSN that are linked to you 💀

My wife and i did everything you just said, and they still refused to give her a new. Even after a over 50, 000.00 was taken. Ruined our credit. I had to literally take her off the grid. They will not help you.

I know someone who knows someone who has 2 different social security numbers and their new one is from a deceased person. They said the birthdates on the cards match except the year. The names match except the middle names. This seems to me like a legal way to steal someone's identity because that person is not the same person.

I’ve been dealing with this for years the social security office will make it very difficult I’ve had evidence going back to 2016 and still no new number police report FTC REPORT/complaints and other documents was told it’s still not enough
