Mufti Menk is totally right. TRUE DREAM doesn't mean you have to treat that as an AUTHORITY.
AL Quran & Al-Hadith, already gave us guidelines. If the dream matched, ALHAMDULILLAH..
BUT TO CLAIM THAT BY USING THE DREAM AS AN AUTHORITY then, that will be NOT RIGHT.
Dream is just a part of "KHIBRAH, " - good news / pleasant news..
but if it DOESN'T match which what that has been foretold by our Prophet Muhammad, than you need to evaluate.
