A primeira vez que eu ouvi esse álbum eu achei meio meme, porque eu escutei que é tão bom quanto o Is This It mas eu não gostei tanto. Na verdade, eu só ouvi Is This It porque era o que eu queria ouvir no Radiohead - Ok Computer. Eu odiei tanto o OK Computer que pesquisei qual era o melhor álbum dos Strokes e a opinião dos fãs estava dividida entre esses 2. Quando eu escutei o Is This It eu achei muito bom, meio diferente do que eu esperava. Mas pensando agora Room on Fire é até melhor que o Is This It
