Treyarch trailers always do a great job at showing the new features of the game and giving it time to be showcased. Bo3 for instance has an amazing showcase of the operator abilities

I've never heard the flight modeling reason, but the main reason for the plane's geometry is to reflect radar waves in conjunction with radar absorbent material. The specific plane the one in game takes after is the F-117 "Nighthawk", which is the first production stealth aircraft. The angled surface is an early form of stealth from the 1970s. Its been replaced in favor of smooth surfaced aircraft since the early 1980s. Either design works (angled or smooth), a smooth airframe is better for aerodynamics. As for the map, I believe it is most likely going to be set in Saudi Arabia because during Operation Desert Storm, we kept our F-117s there and then flew them over Baghdad.

Activision was formed in 1979. They've been around a LONG time. The 1991 date at the beginning is likely just due to the time period that the game is taking place in.

Every single COD from COD 4 to WW2 all looked so different and felt so different (the closest two in my mind being og MW2 and MW3). In a split second you could tell which game you were looking at. Since MW2019 I honestly couldn't even tell you what game I am watching other than by looking at the HUD.
