This is great. I can run a mile pretty good in the 7 minute range. I can run 1/2 mile in low three minute range. I can run 1/4 mile in 60 second range and my 200 meter sprint is under 30 seconds. This distance and shorter distances are were i start having hamstring issues. And particularly my right hamstring. When i start running all out sprints at these shorter distances my right hamstring always wants to lock up. Its strong though. I can leg curl with one leg pretty heavy with no problems at all. So its dfl not a situation of weakness. And i always stretch. This is the closest explanation that I have found that might be why I always seem to get a serious cramping in my right hamstring. I tried this maneuver in the video and my hamstring cramped up the very first time I tried. And I mean 2 seconds after i released my ankle I started to feel severe cramping. So are you saying I should try this maneuver every day and eventually it should get to the point were I am not cramping? I am a little scared cause I barely escaped the maneuver. I had to quickly thrust my body to the side to straighten out my leg within 2 seconds😂

I did an incline walk/sprints and my hamstrings really hurt now. Stretching helps but I was looking for a quick fix. I wonder is swimming today would be too much of maybe help loosen up the muscle.

How long does it take for the muscle to completely heal?

Not a good idea to stretch first. Rest, and Ice to begin. Do this for about
a week.
