Why compare both with different tunes?? Should be the same song, this isn’t very conclusive…

You want sony to sound good? Use the HDMI or network stream instead, leave at least 1m between the wall and speaker, use the sony app's equaliser. I own three of them in my holiday house.

You are making a mistake.
Playing JBL speakers at full volume will activate DSP and it makes the bass weaker.
And you didn't use the JBL One app EQ, I think.

PLEASE PLAY THE SAME AUDIO PLAYED ON SONY AT MAX VOLUME. USE JBL AND SONY EQUILIZER AND MAX THE BASS LEVEL WITH BOTH SONY AND JBL AND SONY EXTRA BASS BOOSTER ON .
