This was so helpful. Booting from CD was the key. Thank you so much. You saved me hours of troubleshooting.

When I click "boot from cd" (second option) it says "unsuccessfull" and I can not boot.

Hello, the way you start at 3:19 is wrong, instead of click on the green arrow, you should click on the black down arrow next to it, choosing Power from firmware, it will go straight to UEFI screen, from there you only choose EFI Sata Cd Rom Drive and then Press any key to boot from CD or DVD.

Hola:
segui tus pasos, arrancando desde cd o DVD desde la Bios pero se queda en boot efi-
solo me deja instalar windows 7 cualquier version-

I get the same problem at the boot where all those commands are unsuccessful. So in the boot manager i pretty much did the same thing you did, pressed on SATA/CD ROM drive but nothing happens. So how do i go further then?
