I'm suddenly 10 years old, in the co-pilot seat of my big brother Timmy's 1973 Trans Am as we ran the roads of the Valley with Fleetwood Mac blasting out of the 8-track. He was the best big brother a little kid could ask for... kind, patient, and affectionate. He was the all-American "Golden Boy"... prom king, quarterback, you know the shpiel... yet always made time to spend with his shy and sensitive kid brother, taking me to the movies, going to the music store -- where he'd help me pick out music I'd like, and hanging out at the Quick Snack with his friends while I munched on onion rings and ice cream cones. He took me out into the world, helped me overcome my fears and taught me there was _nothing_ I couldn't do if I set my mind to it.
