Jan. 19, 2025 - On Mission with ELI, CSCC, Graham, WA

This past Sunday night, our church family gathered for a powerful prayer service featuring Jim Kaya from Empowering Lives International (ELI). Jim shared stories of hope, resilience, and transformation from the heart of Kenya, where ELI is making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and communities.

Empowering Lives International focuses on equipping people to break free from poverty and dependency through practical, sustainable solutions. From training in agricultural skills to addressing the devastating impact of illegal brewing, ELI empowers men and women to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. Their programs provide education, resources, and Christ-centered support, fostering long-term change for families and entire villages.

Jim encouraged us to reflect on how we, too, can live with a heart for service and a spirit of unity, standing with our Kenyan brothers and sisters in their pursuit of God's mission. His stories were a moving reminder of the power of faith in action and the call for all of us to be of one heart as we seek to serve Christ and others.
