Funny enough, I use this method for my "Egg Rescued" school competition and get second place. I remember that some students from science class make fun of me because of my weird design. But let me tell you, NONE of the students from that class win competition. Lol

3. I throw a piece of paper upward and it fall pretty fast with unprotected egg, it won't work
I would chose 2
For number 1, the paper would be too thin to protect anything even though it cover everything while for number 1, even though it cover less, the layer would be thick enough to protect the egg
So number 2 have the highest chance of surviving

Edit: Ok so all of them are wrong, though I have 1 crazy idea that I want to predict before continue watching. What if instead of parachute, we just flip that one upside down. The egg will pull the paper down while the paper pull the egg up

Edit 2: So the paper absorb the impact first and slow down the paper, the egg is lighter than the paper so the paper was able to stop the egg from falling down
