Should you craft or buy Explorer Anthology 2? | MTG News/Analysis

Good video. While initially excited, personally am going to not purchase and simply craft the cards I am looking forward to playing. The only rare that I'm really excited for is Nykthos, as it'll open up various mono colored decks (green being the most obvious, but mono b looking fun too). The commons and uncommons negligible crafting costs. Might regret it if Mutavault is 4 of staple in many decks but I'm not sure that'll be the case. Some good cards here and happy to see them being brought to Explorer and Historic, but again just seems to leave a lot on the table (Bring to Light, etc). Its been increasingly obvious over the years they are milking these anthologies by putting in a lot of filler cards no one is excited for or wants, which is a shame.

Good video....shows me how much other magic is out there to play since i only play and draft whatever the latest set is.

If they atleast add Ugin Sanctum Worldbreaker could be atleast playable in explorer. Metalworker colossus too.

I rarely play explorer, but I love the Eldrazi so i'll probably get it.

Nice explanation. Yes probably most cards of this anthology are crap and you get what you pay no crazy win in value. Wizards are good at maths...

Personally I am not happy that they are releasing this and a new alchemy set in the same week. Wish they would of had more time in between to give people that want to grind the time to collect it.

Maybe a noob question for n new player but do you get 4 of each cards or only 1 ? Thank you
