Man, I honestly don't know what to say. This is simply outrageous that the success of talented people who often work so hard to show their talents to the masses depends purely on the main company's success. It's sad. And I hope you've at least found a good job that you like and that provides enough money to pay your bills. All there's left to say is that I will be hoping this whole situation gets better, though I think we all know it deep down that it's not very likely... :(

To shed some little more light:
I have been a subscriber with notifications on for the past 2 years, and this is the first time I have gotten a notification from your channel in about a month. I know it is not on my end, because I still get notifications from bigger channels, but when it comes to some certain creators, I never get their notifications.
P.S: I forgot to mention but I think that YouTube limits notifications, as I have noticed that I am subbed with notifications on for a 5 channels that upload daily at 9 A.M. I average 2 notifications daily.

I Just found your videos a couple of weeks ago and binged a ton of them. No matter how hard the YouTube algorithm tries to bury certain creators, they will ever be able to stop me from scouring and digging up delicious content like a star-nosed mole.

I've been subscribed for around a year and at first every video I got a notification for but these past few months, nothing. The previous three videos you uploaded I didn't even know existed because I didn't get a notification. Luckily, this came through and it lets people know what's going on. first off, i get ur frustration. i am currently on the biggest downward dive my channel has ever seen. but i’ll give you some things that might help you get back on your feet:

1. how are viewers choosing to watch ur videos over others?
2. how are your viewers choosing to watch your videos AT ALL?
3. compare the quality of the thumbnails/watch time/idea of your older videos which were doing better then your current videos

the reason why you should consider these is because usually when you have views going down is because your old viewers aren’t enjoying the content you make now. if the viewers don’t choose to watch your videos, the less money youtube makes off of it, therefor they choose to push it out to less viewers via recommendations and notifications. now i’ve NEVER EVER seen a trend of views based solely on the share price of google, that might be a WILD coincidence imo, because all of your channel’s performance is based on how viewers are enjoying and choosing to watch your content.

i hope you can get over this slump, it’s a hard and difficult thing to go through, but all it takes is some researching and LOTS of hard work :)

I subscribed some time ago for your series YouTube Unsolved(although without notifications), and I don’t recall seeing a single video of yours on my recommendation all year at the very least. I am subscribed to a lot of YouTubers so it wasn’t noticed by me at first, but even I began to question it here and there but didn’t have the time to dwell on it. I was finally recommended on of your videos again today and was quite excited by the realization and immediately went to watch it. Afterwards while I scrolled through the videos it would recommend in relation to the video, and upon doing so found this one.

I had already realized how mistreated many YouTubers are by the company, but this just feels shocking. Yet, after having been on this platform for so long, I can’t find it in me to be all that surprised anymore. This is just another slap in the face of the sad reality of what it’s really like to be a YouTuber as a career. Anyways, to whoever is reading this massively pathetic essay, thanks for reading my thoughts or whatever you wish to call this nonsense.

Hey bro, I have been subbed to you for a while now under this account and under different accounts in the past. I've figured that some of your content was fake in the past; not because of ill intent, but for entertainment purposes. I don't understand why people can not see that. It's plainly obvious what content is entertainment and what is educational.
