I'm not usually a huge romance reader, but I thoroughly enjoyed some of these more recent releases (like published in the past year or two) and wanted to share those books with you! hope you enjoy :)

I LOVED The Charm Offensive. It was great to see how Chocrun wrote about mental health and in relation to a romantic relationship as well.

I loooved The Perks of Loving a Wallflower, and I totally agree, the cover is a miss 😂 definitely a cute lil plot and romance if you can get your hands on it! I read this to pull me out of a book rut.

I will have to check some of those out

My current favorite queer romance is Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall. Has a lot of comedy that can be hit or miss with people, but this is one of the only books to make me actually laugh out loud. Narrator for audiobook also brings the book up level and I would highly recommend it

I read Delilah Green this summer and loved it! I can't wait for the book about her sister Astrid :D Also I thought she used the word lesbian on page for Delilah, guess I'll check it upon a reread. Thanks for sharing these recs with us 🐢✨️

I adored Delilah Green and am recommending it with reckless abandon! I really liked Perks of Loving a Wallflower to start, but I ended up DNFing it at like 60% because I didn’t care about the feminist side plot. I’m extra excited to read Like a House on Fire now that I’ve heard you talk about it. Just waiting on my audiobook hold to come through. :)

I was interested in The Perks of Loving a Wallflower from the moment I heard about it. It's nice to have a better idea of what I'm walking into
