GRWM | MINI TWIST OUT + Zambian Tag Edition
Показать описание
Hi Guys,
Here is another share of the week and it's my very first GRWM video infused with the Zambian Tag.
I've also got some fun facts below for anyone who isn't familiar with Zambia.
- Zambia is a landlocked country in Southern African, the capital city is Lusaka (where I was born)
*The land of the legendary African walking safari, Victoria Falls, the wild Zambezi River, abundant wildlife and raw wilderness, all in one friendly country.
- Zambia gained independence from the British on the 24th of October 1964
- There are around 73 ethnic groups, most of which are Bantu-speaking. The main tribes/languages are: Nyanja-Chewa, Bemba, Tonga, Ngoni/Tumbuka, Lunda, Luvale, Kaonde, Nkoya and Lozi.
Check out this great read on the Ngoni people below:
- Nshima is a dish made from maize flour aka mealie meal and water. This is our staple food in Zambia.
*Famous Zambians:
Kenneth Kaunda - First President of Zambia (1964 - 1991)
Lukwesa Burak - News/Weather Presenter for BBC News
Henry Nkole Tayali - Artist/sculptor
Robert Earnshaw - Welsh former international footballer
Julia Rose - Actress
Emelie Sande - Singer/Songwriter
Dambisa Moya - Global Economist/Author
Sydney Siame - 200m Sprinter
Racheal Nachula - 400m Sprinter
Sebastian Thiel - Director/Writer/producer
(The list goes on...)
