The Present and Future of Triathlon | Gustav Iden: Winning is a Choice 🥇

Gustav Iden knows he is one of the very best. His slogan 'winning is a choice' screams confidence and his performances back it up.

Winner in Kona at the Ironman World Championships in 2022, alongside 2 x Collins Cup victories, the 2020 PTO Championship in Daytona, the 2022 PTO Canadian Open and 2 x Ironman 70.3 World Championships - there is no doubting Gustav's ability among the very best there has ever been.

But can he reach those heights? Jan Frodeno, widely considered the greatest of all time, has yet to race the Norwegian superstar, whilst his best friend and training partner, Kristian Blummenfelt, has already landed several world championship titles, as well as an Olympic gold medal, and will no doubt be looking to secure his own place in history as triathlon's GOAT.

The self proclaimed present and future of triathlon, there's no doubting Gustav Iden is 100% true to himself on his journey to dominate the sport for decades to come.

Met him and Kristian during the PTO Canadian Open, they are very nice and even after the race they have the time to take some photo op, and i would say they are just confident not arrogant and they just trust their approach on how they train, and if you trust it then there is nothing wrong with being confident with it. And they got the right to be confident because they shatter most of the races 🤙🏽 🇳🇴 🔥

Great competitors and champions respect their opponents and have at least a shred of humility. Nobody calls themselves the GOAT - that is only something that others can bestow upon you....Gustav is he still has some maturing to do. Certainly great for soundbites to pump the sport.
