Top drumming prize & a dazzling medley from Simon Fraser Pipe Band at The World Championships 2022

Simon Fraser University Pipe Band under Pipe Major Alan Bevan and Leading Drummer Reid Maxwell were last to play in the two days of competition at Glasgow Green on 12 and 13 August 2022. The occasion was first World Pipe Band Championships held as usual on Glasgow Green.
This is the band's Saturday medley and it comprises the following tunes:
Peter the Leader - Colin Magee
The Iron Man - J Scott Skinner
The Isle of Hoy - Glenna Mackay
Port Sean Seosamh - traditional
Biddy from Sligo - traditional
The Mist Covered Mountains - traditional
David Ross of Rosehall - Archibald MacNeill
Wedding in the Wood - Fin Moore
The Ale is dear - traditional
PTE Joe McConnell - Murray Blair
I was at the other end of the park and had a television crane and two flags between me and the band so my shot of the band and Reid Maxwell at the announcement are not very good. This is the sixth time a Maxwell drum corps has won the drumming championship - 5 times with Simon Fraser and once with the 78th Fraser Highlanders - and it is a record.
