12V 5 Amps Supply for DC Motor using 220v Mixer Motor as Transformer

In this video i will be using the stator winding of a mixer motor 220v and then convert it into a 12v step down transformer for power supply that i can power up my DC motors.

I understand it is the secondary winding, but please wrap the threads on the core with tape first. You dont want the threads cutting through the insulation on the wires.

Field coil wethout armecher dosnot adebat 220vac it will burn.

You Must use Laminated Core or a Ferrite Core
Instead of a thicker nut
This cab cause heating of nut and Bolt....

160 volt rated motor coils with out the 80 v armature hence a series wound motor for 240v i tried this ages ago and burnt up the coils
