How to Activate UAN with PF number - 2020

To activate UAN from PF number in 2019 you must have a 22 digit Provident Fund account number in which first 5 digits are from regional office next 7 digits from establishment of Company Id and if establishment having any extension then next 3 digits are from that extension code. And the last 7 digits are from Member ID. And this all consists your PF Account number.

But in #UAN number, there is only 12 digits. UAN number was first started in 2014 and before that there were only #PF Account number for all employees to track their Provident Fund Savings.

Steps to activate UAN from PF Account number:

First go to unified portal member in Google search.
Go to epfo member website.
Then you have to go to Activate UAN.
Then if you have UAN then you can enter and if not then you can enter PF number.
After that you will find State and regional office location, enter these locations.
Now you have to add establishment id.
And then member id.
If you didn't updated your Aadhar number and PAN number in #PF Account then you have to enter your correct name and Date of Birth and enter your mobile number which you want to register with your PF or UAN number.
Then you will see a validation, once you approve that details then you will get a OTP on your mobile.
When you enter that OTP on the place then you will receive another message on your phone with your UAN and password.
Then you login via UAN and password and you #UAN will be activated.
