While I understand that we aren’t running out of helium in the short term, I still think it shouldnt be used to fill the boss baby balloon. Mostly because I think the boss baby balloon should be filled with mosquitoes and dropped to the bottom of the ocean to kill two birds with one stone

I have some facial recognition issues and so when you first popped onto screen I was wondering why someone was doing a vocal impression of you. Then you put on your glasses and I was able to recognize you. Watched it through a few times and my brain still is like, nope that's not Hank Green until the glasses go on.

I work in the helium industry. We still say there’s a shortage because getting the helium out to distributors and the distributors getting product out to customers makes it feel like a general helium shortage. Plus, medical industries, SpaceX and tech in general get first dibs so when I see a gigantic boss baby… I can’t help but think, yea… someone chose that over an MRI machine during a worldwide helium shortage.

as someone who uses liquid helium everyday for my phd thank you for this message lol
(although i still cringe at helium balloons and in our lab we try to conserve as much of our helium as physically possible)
