So you're cruising around in Free Roam with your buddies or hunting for treasure gems to complete your Treasure Hunt. Suddenly a cop shows up out of nowhere, you make contact and now you're suddenly in a Pursuit Outrun separated from your friends with no Treasure Gems in sight. Sounds frustratingly familiar? We've listened, felt your pain and that's why we have decided to change the way Pursuits work!

Now, instead of ramming into a cop in Free Roam, you can initiate a Pursuit Outrun by either driving up to its own event Icon in Free Roam, or opening your World Map and clicking on the event Icon to join the event. The choice and control is now yours to when YOU want to initiate a Pursuit. There are a total of 4 Pursuit events in the world, each with its own starting location and cops. Once you've chosen an event, the Pursuit will start with a countdown timer. The actual Pursuit gameplay itself remains unchanged; you still have to evade the cops until the cooldown is complete and they give up on the chase.
